Fantasy Wedding winner will receive an all expense paid wedding and reception at one of Fallbrook’s finest wedding and reception venues at a date and time mutually agreed upon by the Bride & Groom and participating Wedding venues covering the period of March 1, 2009 thru February 28, 2010. The role of the military is an integral part of Fallbrook’s history with USMC Camp Pendleton serving as our western border. This show focuses on the U.S. military’s involvement from 1960-2008: 1960-1975 Vietnam War - 1961 Bay of Pigs Invasion , 1983 Grenada 1989 US Invasion of Panama, 1990-1991 Persian Gulf War, 1995-1996 Intervention in Bosnia /Herzegovina, 1999-present U.S. invasion and occupation of Serbia, 2001- present U.S. invasion and occupation of Afghanistan, 2003-present U.S. invasion and occupation of Iraq.
The community and show visitors are invited to add their own photos and stories from the period to a timeline wall that will grow throughout the show. Collaborative Partners: USMC Camp Pendleton, Fallbrook’s VFW Post 1924, Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce, Fallbrook Historical Society, San Diego County Library, Fallbrook Chorale, Fallbrook Music Society.
